What is Sisal?
Naturally sisal comes from the cactus plant 'Agave Sisalana' so not only is it a very stylish choice, but an eco-friendly one. Commonly sourced from Brazil, China and South Tanzania and evolved to survive in hot climates with very minimal rainfall in Sumer. Once stripped and dried for 30 days it is ready to be woven into beautiful, organic flooring solutions.

-Upkeep is relatively easy, with regular vacuuming keeping it fresh.
-The ability to dye and shape it into a variety of patterns makes it very versatile around the home
- Sisal is extremely absorbent; in fact it can act as a natural humidifier for your home, meaning it’ll stay cool on hot days.
Disadvantages of Sisal
-Precaution does have to be taken in humid and moist places in your house. We don’t recommend fitting them in bathrooms or kitchen.
-It cannot be steam cleaned or shampooed, so any accidents that do stain can be hard to remove.
