This Autumn Winter Season is seeing the return of old trends and new ones emerging, it’s very exciting seeing what’s in store for us! We’ve compiled a list of our 5 favourites. Do you agree? Or should different trend have made our list?
Teal - The Real Deal
Teal is a colour that sits somewhere between turquoise and blue. It’s the perfect tone to give an uplifting feel to a room by adding brighter aspects. This colour works well with white by making a room fresh and inviting. However it also works well with greys and charcoals to create a more dramatic and sophisticated effect. The Cormar Town & Country carpet in Plum creates a bold statement when teamed up with teal walls, dark accessories and bright white skirting boards.
At One With Nature
This season it’s all about all things natural; ceramics, woven lampshades, linen and natural carpets and flooring. Why not try and team as many natural elements up as you can, we dare you! We especially like this trend when paired with exposed brickwork to create a real rustic feel. Here is Alternative Flooring Sisal Super Panama Acapulco which is a beautiful natural carpet option; with the addition of grey it finishes the landing perfectly.
The houseplant trend is here to stay! They don’t just add an outdoor and natural feel to your home but they help to filter the air too, you can’t get better than that really. There’s so many different varieties, little or large; whether you have a small apartment or a four bed detached house there’s plants for you. Pairing plants up with engineered oak floor board you can create a relaxing and calm atmosphere. The ideal place for you to come home to after a hard day at work.
50 Shades of Grey
This is one of our favourite trends and it’s not the first time it’s made an appearance over the past few years. It’s a stylist choice that can be used as a main colour or be used for accents making it very versatile. It works fabulously with white as it enhances the grandeur of a room, as you can see in the picture below.
