Case Study - Number 38 Clifton Hotel

Number Thirty-Eight, overlooking Clifton Downs in Bristol, recently refurbished their gorgeous Georgian merchant’s house, and we were asked to supply and install new flooring throughout.

Number Thirty-Eight, Clifton, Bristol - Lounge

Project Overview

This award-winning boutique hotel is the perfect place for our natural flooring. Sitting at the top of Whiteladies Rd, most rooms offer panoramic views of the city. The sisal flooring they chose brings a homely feel, whilst offering the highest level of comfort.

“ A home-from-home feel, with a really chilled atmosphere, and rooms you can relax in.”

Our team of specialist fitters installed flooring in the Reception & Bar, Library, Lounge, Bedrooms, hallway and stairs.

Sisal Metallic Palladium flooring

What type of natural flooring did we install?

On the ground floor we fitted a Sisal metallic, known for its intricate and tactile finish. The colour that was chosen was Palladium – a warm natural tone. On the stairs we fitted another Sisal – this time from the Panama range in the colour Donegal. In the bedrooms we made bespoke rugs made from Sisal Herringbone in Harestock, with a single charcoal border.
