Why choose wonderful wool?

Wool is a textile fibre that comes from sheep and other animals. The shearing of sheep is essential for their welfare and upkeep which means wool that is grown on sheep which graze freely is 100% natural. Not only this but recyclable and biodegradable which makes it the perfect choice for sustainable, natural flooring. If you are looking for an eco-friendly flooring option you should definitely consider a wool carpet. That’s not all though, wool has even more benefits to offer you.

Strength & Durability

Wool carpets have been know for hundreds of year for their strength and durability. Wool has a natural crimp which provides you with plenty of opportunity to bounce back, which therefore provides you with great performance over many years with long lasting durability.

Fire Resistant

Wool is naturally fire resistant and has a very low ignition rate.

Comfort

You can’t beat having a carpet in your home. It’s great in the winter offering insulation, adding that extra warmth and cosiness.

Easy care

Due to wool being a natural fibre it means that it contains its own natural oils. These oils are resistant to soiling so most of the time you will just have to keep on top of the vacuuming. We do advise that if you do have any spillages that you deal with them straight away with a clean cloth.
